We first met on Beale Street which is ironic since it's probably our least favorite place in Memphis. It was June of 2003 and I was playing a show with Lucero at the Old Daisy. As I was leaving at the end of the night, she nervously gave me a piece of paper with her number on it. I thought she was gorgeous but I was dating someone at the time. Five months later, I was single and ordering coffee from her at Otherlands. I pretended to want to borrow a Justin Timberlake CD so I'd have an excuse to talk to her. It worked and we started dating pretty soon after that. As a side bonus, I really liked the Justin Timberlake CD.

On a cold night in January, Todd & I took the drive to Eureka Springs for a nice dinner. After we ate at the historic Basin Park Hotel, we explored the empty streets, which were still lined with white Christmas lights. We wandered up onto a stage that overlooks the winding streets of downtown Eureka and a quaint little park below. It was there that Todd got down on one knee and said that he wanted to be with me forever. I was presented with not only a beautiful ring, but also a future with the most amazing person I could ever
wish for.

The wedding will be held at the Clinton House Museum in Fayetteville, AR on Saturday August 11, 2007 at 4:00pm. It's a small house near the University of Arkansas campus with a nice yard in the back and plenty of parking across the street. By day, it's a museum of Clinton memorabilia but all of that will be nicely packed away during the wedding.
As for the history of the house, it was the first home of Bill and Hillary Clinton and they were married in the living room in 1975. Interestingly enough, we'll be the first couple to get married there since the Clintons...so we're sending them an invite. Maybe they'll show up?!
Some of ya'll have been asking where the reception is so here ya go: It's at the same place! Yep, all ya gotta do is show up at 4pm and voila, you're set. The "ceremony" will be extra short and sweet and will immediately be followed by plenty of food, drinks and good times.
Everything is very non-traditional so please feel free to come dressed down. Just so you know, the groom will be wearing jeans, that's right, jeans! And yes, you heard right, we're gonna have pizza and Cracker Jacks...and plenty of beverages (the tasty kind).
We finally registered at Target and Lowes. Most of the stuff is from Target and can be found either in the store or if you wanna save some time, head on over to Target.com and search for either Sarah McGregor or Todd Gill.
Our Lowe's registry is pretty small (only a few items) but we mainly set it up for gift cards since we are always improving and adding stuff to our house. Problem is, we couldn't figure out how to register for anything other than $105 gift cards, which is lame so we're just letting ya'll know that gift cards would be perfect if you feel like you have to get a gift.
If you wanna RSVP or get a hold of us for some reason, please shoot us an e-mail using this address: contact (at) toddplussarah (dot) com. So easy.

Enter your zipcode below and a nifty Google Map will take over from there.

The Clinton House Museum has a neat-o website if you wanna know more about the location.
